TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 - COBAR TO TIBOOBURRA

After a meet and greet night in Cobar, we start the day with a big breakfast and head north towards Louth, across the Darling River and onto the small township of Tibooburra where we will rest for the night at a great outback aussie pub.

DAY 2 - TIBOOBURRA TO INNAMINKA

Today will see us visit the Sturt National Park and pass through the "Dog Fence" into Queensland, from here we move through the gas fields and onto Innaminka on the mighty Cooper Creek. You will start to get a real taste of the isolation and baronness of some parts of this country during today.

DAY 3 - INNAMINKA TO CAMERON CORNER

After another big breakfast, we head out this morning for a bit of a history and visit the "Burke and Wills memorials" on the banks of the Cooper Creek. Then head South to Cameron Corner where we kick back for the night.

DAY 4 - CAMERON CORNER TO WHITE CLIFFS

We will kick off today with a look around the Sturt National Park and check out Gorge Lookout, Mt Wood and a Pastoral Musuem before we set off for the small opal mining town of White Cliffs. For something a bit different we will stay underground tonight at an underground Motel.

DAY 5 - WHITE CLIFFS TO COBAR

Emerging from the underground, we head off on our last day of the tour. With some sight seeing along the way in Paroo-Darling National Park, we head for Tilpa on the shores of the Darling River. As we follow the river back to Louth and finally finishing up in Cobar where we will spend the night reliving the trip over dinner and a cold drink.

** While every effort is made to have our tours run like clockwork, we need to remember that an "Adventure Tour" is exactly that!  It's "AN ADVENTURE". We are at the mercy of natures little hurdles, it may be a collapsed road, a river thats too high or an outback wind storm. Whatever the case may be, we will need to be flexible in these times and alter our course to get to our destination.
