There really is no other place like the "Australian Outback", its unique in so many ways.

 

This Short Blast Outback tour will set off from the small mining town of Cobar in Central NSW and finish up at the same location.

 

From here we leave the tarmac behind and head for Tibooburra and then through the "Dog Fence" and into Queensland. Then onto Innaminka were we get a bit of a history lesson on the triumphs and tragedies of "Burke and Wills". Leaving Innaminka, we pass through the Moomba gas field area and onto Cameron Corner, where the three state border corners (NSW,QLD,S.A) meet. As we start to head East again, we pass through the Sturt National Park, Milparinka and onto White Cliffs for a night in the underground motel before making our last leg back to Cobar via Tilpa and Louth on the banks of the Darling River.
